LimeWash
Lime wash is a traditional, natural paint or coating made from slaked lime (calcium hydroxide), water, and pigments. It’s known for its matte finish, soft texture, and breathability. It has been used for centuries in architecture and interior design, particularly in historical and rustic settings.
Lime wash is created by mixing calcium hydroxide (which is produced by heating limestone) with water.
Mineral Wash
Mineral wash is a type of decorative finish used for walls, floors, and other surfaces, made from mineral-based products that create a unique, aged, or weathered appearance. It’s similar to lime wash but uses different minerals (such as silica, clay, or cement) to achieve a distinct look. The finish is known for its natural, matte texture, and it can be applied in various colors and shades, depending on the minerals and pigments used.
